FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: carrying capacity of the crossing ice cover is increased by means of steel pipes lowered vertically to the basin bottom through the through openings formed in the ice cover along both sides of the crossing along its entire length, the bottom end of the pipe being made welded and its upper end projecting over the ice surface. The pipes are made of three parts articulated with each other by two spherical permeable hinges. The lower part of the pipes is installed on the basin bottom vertically, and the other two - at an angle thereto, wherein the upper part frozen into the ice cover is equipped with an additional spherical hinge combined with a sliding one.
EFFECT: increasing the operation reliability of the ice crossing is achieved due to ensuring the independence of its loading capacity from fluctuations in the water level in the water body.
