SUBSTANCE: mechanical fruit-picking device contains a handle and a knife fixed on the handle. The handle is made in the form of two side plates rubberized on the outside and rigidly fixed to each other. The handle is equipped with a trigger with a torsion spring. The trigger is attached to the handle end. The fruit picking device housing is made in the form of two parallel plates. The lower end of the plates is rigidly connected to the free end of the handle. The housing is equipped with an abutment for the trigger in the middle part and with the ribbed support for a peduncle in the upper part. The knife is made in the form of the cutting segment installed between the plates on the axis. The cutting segment has an elongated hyperbolic edge and is connected by a link with a free trigger end.

EFFECT: increased productivity, facilitating the fruit picking process, excluding the fruit damage and ensuring the work safety of collectors.
