FIELD: agricultural engineering; fruit hand pickers.

SUBSTANCE: proposed picker has pole with support plate with fitted-on fruit collector and drive with cutting member made in form of two curvilinear articulated knives fitted in slots of plates and provided with curvilinear rib on each knife. Trapezoidal teeth are made on each rib on length of their contact and uniformly spaced over length with rib sections being arranged symmetrically relative to each other and with thrusting to side of their front ends. Angle in tooth base is 3/4π with pitch equal to 1/8 and depth equal to 1/60 of rib radius of curvature. Adjacent opposite cutting edges of ribs of teeth in place of contact form angle not less than 3° and not larger than angle of friction. Triangular cavities arranged on rib are adjacent to ribbed section of corresponding knife.

EFFECT: prevention of forcing out of fruit stem in process of cutting off.
