FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutter-loader comprises a travel mechanism, a frame with at least two actuators, each containing at least one rotating cutting head fixed to its handle and drivers of their rotation. The actuator and cutting heads rotation drivers are in the form of two-rotor modules comprising a central drive gear and two coaxially rotatable independently rotors interconnected through the central drive gears via a synchronization mechanism that enables to adjust the position of the actuators with the handles against each other. The two-rotor modules and synchronization mechanism are integrated into a single unit where the distance between the central axes of the two-rotor modules should exceed the sum of the radius of the cutting head with the handle and the rotor module radius.
EFFECT: rotation of the actuator and the cutting heads is ensured during drilling process.
