FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: laser gyroscope contains a polygonal optical monoblock with formed optical channels, a full reflection mirror, a semitransparent mirror, a prism and an external optical resonator for coupling a semiconductor laser with the optical monoblock made of an optically transparent material. Three optical transparency windows are formed in the surface of the outer cavity, two of which form a horizontal induced optical channel. The external optical resonator is made in the form of a plane-parallel volumetric polyhedron shape, in which a physical open-through optical channel of a smaller diameter is additionally created inside the induced horizontal optical channel.
EFFECT: stabilization of the optical radiation mode in the optical contour of a gyroscope.
