FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser engineering and can be used in designing navigation systems, particularly in gimballess inertial navigation systems. Method is based on using process holes of gyroscope monoblock as additional resonators inside optical circuit due to application of light-reflecting coating on walls of holes. Application of the method enables modification of known laser gyroscopes based on ring laser circuits for navigation systems of objects in order to increase their accuracy characteristics of counting of measured angular velocities and preservation of basic parameters as sensors of angular velocities, with minimum losses of radiation power.
EFFECT: design of a method for increasing the Q-factor of an optical circuit, which enables to considerably reduce power consumption of the system, as well as obtain more accurate information on the position of the gyroscope in space at low deviation angles.
