FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: diagnostic meter contains a housing on which a spring dynamometer with a movable element is rigidly mounted. A stylus is rigidly connected to the dynamometer. The stylus is made in the form of a knitting needle with a nozzle. The probe head contacting the sample surface is connected to it by a threaded connection. The body of the meter is made in the form of a hollow cylinder. Inside the cylinder passes the probe. The dynamometer is graded not only in strength but also in displacement. The pressure on the sample is set by the probe when the cylinder is moved to the touch with the sample, which is fixed visually. The elongation of the stylus relative to the end of the cylinder is regulated and measured before testing the sample.
EFFECT: expanding the use of a diagnostic meter to determine the elasticity characteristics of superficial soft tissues and improving its ergonomic properties.
