FIELD: medical instruments.

SUBSTANCE: diagnostic meter can be used in traumatology and orthopedics for finding oedemata in places of fractured extremities as well as for measuring characteristics of elasticity of biological tissues. According to the first version, diagnostic meter has guide with motionless base and with movable carriage provided with linear shift meter and with force meter which has indication board for showing readings. Force meter is made in form of elastic resistance-stain beam, which has to be a part of prod. Resistance-strain gauges of the beam are integrated into resistance-strain bridge; the gauges are connected to controller. According to the other version, meter has guide with motionless base and with two movable carriages, connected by elastic link. Carriage being closer to motionless base is provided with prod. Any carriage is provided with linear movement meter, digital panel for indication of linear size. Both meters can be used widely, they have low costs and high precision of measurement.
