SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended for use as cutters of liquids, gases, vapours or flowing granular materials in pipelines or containers. The plug valve includes a valve body with a bypass passage for flowing a fluid, a highly elastic collar annular sealing element supported in a fixed position opposite the aperture of the bypass passage, and a plug pivotable about an axis of rotation in the bypass passage. The plug is supported in a floating manner, overcoming the forces of compression of springs resting against the valve body and pressing the plug against the highly elastic collar ring sealing element. The plug floats between the highly elastic collar ring sealing element and the spring elements, and the medium affects the floating motion of the plug. There is a constructive version of the cork valve.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability and tightness of the cork valve.
