SUBSTANCE: direct digital synthesizer (DDS) with frequency modulation contains a reference generator 1, a forming and delaying unit 2, a waiting multivibrator 3, a first and a second digital storage devices 4 and 5, a third and a fourth digital storage devices 6 and 7, a multiplexer 8, a function converter 9, digital-analog converter (DAC) 10, low-pass filter (LPF) 11. The digital inputs of DDS are the inputs of the first and third digital devices, waiting multivibrator and multiplexer, and its analog output is the output of LPF.
