FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and radio engineering, is intended for synthesis of complex frequency-modulated (FM) signals and can be used in radar, navigation and communication systems. Digital synthesizer comprises (Fig. 1) reference generator 1, formation and delay unit 2, first memory register 3, first digital storage 4, inverter 5, multiplexer 6, second digital storage 7, function converter code-sinus 8, digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) 9, low-pass filter (LPF) 10, second memory register 11, divider with variable division coefficient 12. Digital inputs of the digital synthesizer are the inputs of the first and second memory registers and the control input of the multiplexer, and its analog output is the LPF output.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of synthesis of frequency-modulated signals with M-shaped law of frequency variation.
