FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method of crystalline diamond particles obtaining includes adding of cycloalkane (cyclic saturated hydrocarbon) or polybasic alcohol in an amount of 5-85 wt % the weight of detonation nanodiamonds to the nanodiamonds powder obtained by detonation synthesis, aging of the resulting composition at a static pressure of 5-8 GPa and a temperature of 1000-1800°C for 5-120 seconds and separating the resulting particles from graphite by sedimentation in the liquid.
EFFECT: invention allows to directly obtain crystalline diamond particles of the size needed for finishing and biomarkers in the range of 50-500 nm, thereby eliminating the need for additional grinding.
