FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology of materials. The method of production of crystalline diamond particles comprises impregnation of nanodiamond powder obtained by detonation synthesis, saturated acyclic hydrocarbon or monobasic alcohol in a concentration of 22 wt % to 58 wt %, keeping the obtained composition under the static pressure of 5-8 GPa and a temperature of 1300-1800°C for 10-60 seconds.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain directly diamond particles of 50-500 nm in size, thereby eliminating the need in their additional grinding.
