FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is an acid-hydrolyzed composition for targeted drug delivery consisting of microgel particles dispersed in a solution having a size in the range of 0.1 to 10 mcm and comprising: a) a polymer backbone which is a PEG diacrylate crosslinked with Lys-Phe-Gly-Lys with Span 80 and Tween 80, having the total hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of 5.6; b) acid protease, which is pepsin, inactivated at neutral pH and activated at moderately acidic pH; c) a drug that does not break down during acid protease catalysis.

EFFECT: improved compoistion properties.
