SUBSTANCE: satellite system for locating ships and aircrafts involvedin an accident contains two emergency beacons, an artificial Earth satellite (AES), five receiving antennas, three receivers, two memories, an antenna transmitter, an information receiving point, and a receiver with a receiving antenna, two information processing devices, a device for interface with communication networks, a monitoring and control device, a communication device of search and rescue organizations. The third receiver comprises five receive antennas, six mixers, five first intermediate frequency amplifiers, six multipliers, five narrowband filters, a search unit, two heterodyne detectors, a phase-shift signal detector (PSD), a phase doubler, two spectral width meters, a comparator, a threshold block, a delay line, a key, the second intermediate frequency amplifier, a PSD signal demodulator, low pass filters, six phase meters, three subtractors, four adders.
EFFECT: expanding the system functionality through the formation of measuring bases by an indirect method, accurate and unambiguous determination of the emergency beacon location placed on ships and aircraft involved in an accident.
