FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: establish an occlusive conductor catheter in the internal carotid artery from the side of the lesion. Against the background of temporary occlusion of the internal carotid artery through the thrombus thickness, a microcatheter is conducted through which a stent retriever is installed in the occlusion zone of the middle cerebral artery. Hold the stent-retriever in this position for 3-5 minutes. Then, while maintaining patency, the stent-retriever is folded into a microcatheter. In the absence of blood flow within the stent-retractor, thrombus extraction is performed. At the same time, blood flow control is performed by means of a diagnostic catheter mounted in the cerebral artery, connected with the side of the lesion through the system of the Willis circle.
EFFECT: method allows you to restore blood flow to the arteries of the brain, to minimize the risk of complications.
