FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, vascular surgery, endovascular surgery. Artery is catheterised with an introducer with a detachable haemostatic valve; the occlusion zone is recanalized with a guide, through which a Casper stent is inserted in a distal direction from the occlusion zone. It is partially opened, not more than 50–75 % of length of stent. Stent is pulled through the occlusion zone into the introducer and further outwards. Stent is cleared of thrombi. Stent is pulled back into the delivery system; the procedure is repeated until the thrombi is completely removed. Angiographic control of thrombectomy efficiency is performed.
EFFECT: method enables high-effective thrombectomy with prolonged thrombotic or embolic occlusions, including small-diameter arteries of up to 3 mm.
