FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: in the flying apparatus engine calculating unit (112) electric power supply and ventilation device (110), including an air screw (124) linked with the driving means (126) and capable of generating an airflow (130) for ventilation of the calculating unit, and an air supply means (120) in the vicinity of the computing device, the air screw is mounted in the air supply means, and the driving means include an electric machine (126) capable of functioning as an engine for generating air propeller propulsion and as a generator for powering the calculating unit. The rotor of this electric machine, functioning as a generator, is driven by an air screw, which in turn is driven by an air flow circulating or exiting the air supply means. A method of using a flying apparatus engine calculating unit electric power supply and ventilation device is also provided.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to cool the calculating unit on the ground, and leads to a gain in mass and size.
