SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to structures of drives of rotation of air propellers. An electric drive of an air propeller contains a profiled ring, an air propeller in the ring, a sleeve retaining the air propeller, a shaft, on which the specified freely rotating sleeve is placed, racks rigidly fixing a mutual location of the ring and the sleeve. The drive is made in the form of a valve electric engine having a stator, sections of winding of which are placed inside the specified ring, poles of a distributed rotor, located at ends of blades of the specified air propeller, sensors of a position of the specified poles, a control system.

EFFECT: increase in energy quality of an electric propeller-motor group.
