Request is sent, containing a check number, to the connected router to request if a file with check number is stored in the router. Request is sent to the router through registered account if system was logged in corresponding to the previously registered credentials so that the router inquires whether file with check number is stored in the backup data available for the registered account. A new file is backed up to the router, if it was determined that the file with check number is not stored in the router, according to the result of the request returned by the router.
