SUBSTANCE: proposed method for determining spam activity in a cloud service located on the server, the server has a digital object stored on it, the server is available through the data transmission network of to a plurality of cloud service users, wherein an indication of the first action of provision of shared access to a digital object is obtained from the first user of a plurality of cloud storage service users; in response to the first indication the counter value of actions to provide shared acess related to the digital object is increased; an indication of the second action of provision of shared access to a digital object is obtained from the second user of a plurality of users; in response to the second indication the counter value of actions to provide shared acess related to the digital object is increased; in responce to the fact that the counter value of actions to provide shared acess reaches a predetermined threshold value, actions to cut spam activity related to a digital object are performed.
