SUBSTANCE: calculation the brightness of histograms of the image in the selected window is performed. To identify on the images of chest fluorograms of the pathological formations caused by pneumonia, the graphic primitives of the brightness histogram in the selected window are determined, the size of which is 1% of the image size of the chest fluorogram. A vector of informative features is formed, which is analyzed by means of a trained two-alternative classifier, tuned for the classification of brightness histograms, including morphological formations due to pneumonia. The pixel of the chest fluorogram, corresponding to the window in which the brightness histogram was determined, is binarized.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of separating segments of halftone images of chest fluorograms in patients with pneumonia, improving the quality of diagnostic decisions, increasing the degree of automation of the analysis and classification of chest fluorograms.
