FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to medical diagnostics, and can be used for recognition of the structure of blood blast nuclei and bone marrow using light microscopy in combination with computer data processing for the diagnosis of B- and T-linear acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Color image is obtained by a computer analyzer from the smears. Leukocytes are highlightedin the image and a binary image is obtained, wherein a procedure for filling voids within the cell boundary is carried by sequential image scanning. Spatial-brightness distribution of image pixels is measured. Value of texture indexes, characterizing the nucleus structure, is determined for representations of color models of leukocytes. Based on indices, a matrix of numerical texture indexes nucleus structure is formed, where the columns includes index values, and the rows includes leukocyte images, for recognition of the structure of blast nuclei.
EFFECT: method provides differential diagnosis of B- and T-linear acute lymphoblastic leukemia due to the combination of light microscopy and computer data processing.
