FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electricity generating thermal protection shell contains a flexible sheet consisting of a flexible heat insulating dielectric covered with a film made of a moisture-proof and sealing dielectric on both sides. Thermoelectric sections are placed in the heat insulating dielectric mass, which constitute U-shaped rows made of fibreglass strips, the surfaces of paired perpendicular segments of which are alternately covered with a powder of different metals M1 and M2 by sputtering, the ends of the above mentioned segments are bent at an angle of 90°, are interconnected and also coated with an equimolar mixture of metal M1 and M2 powders by sputtering, forming separate thermionic converters, and are located on opposite surfaces of the heat insulating dielectric layer in parallel to them, the extreme perpendicular segments of each U-shaped row are interconnected by bridges, and the extreme perpendicular segments of the extreme U-shaped rows of each thermoelectric section are connected to single-pole electric charge collectors which are connected to the current leads.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified manufacture of the device.
