SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions includes replacement blocks for an electrophotographic image forming device comprising: an elongated body extending along the longitudinal dimension between the front side and the back side of the body. The body further includes the first side, the second side, an upper side, and a lower side. The body has a toner storage tank, a drive element on the rear side of the body that is not overlapped to obtain rotational power, when the replacement block is mounted in the image forming device, an electrical contact on the rear of the body not overlapped to make contact with the corresponding electrical contact, when the replacement block is mounted in the image forming device. The ledge has a downwardly extending groove formed therein and communicated in fluid with the reservoir, and a rear surface of the ledge is not overlapped to obtain a deflection force in a forward direction toward the front side of the housing along the longitudinal size, a hole on the bottom side of the ledge, communicating in fluid with the groove for transferring toner from the reservoir, a latch grip on the first side of the housing, is arranged to receive a corresponding latch, when the replacement block is installed in the image forming device, to prevent movement of the housing in the forward direction along the longitudinal dimension; and the first shelf positioned along the longitudinal dimension on the first side of the housing, and the second shelf positioned along the longitudinal dimension on the second side of the housing. The latch grip includes the front end face of the first positioning shelf.

EFFECT: ensuring accurate alignment of the cartridge, and relatively simple insertion of the cartridge into and out of the image forming device.
