FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates generally to imaging devices, and more specifically to a toner cartridge, having a movable protrusion to provide feedback when installed in an imaging device. Claimed group of inventions includes variants of toner cartridges. In this case, the toner cartridge contains: housing having an upper side, lower side, front side and rear side, located between the first side and the second side of the case, and the case has a reservoir for storing toner; exhaust passage, hydraulically communicating with the reservoir and facing down on the front of the case near the first side of the case to release toner from the toner cartridge; lever mechanism on the first side of the body having a grip surface, access to which is possible from the rear side of the body; and ledge on the first side of the case, being movable between the first position and the second position, wherein the protrusion extends outward to the side of the first side when the protrusion is in the second position, the protrusion is functionally connected with the lever mechanism in such a way that the protrusion moves upwards from the first position to the second position, when the adhesion surface senses a forward-directed force that acts towards the front side of the body, while the protrusion freely comes into contact with the shoulder in the imaging device and pushes this shoulder upwards, when the protrusion moves up from the first position to the second position to change the state of the sensor in the image forming apparatus when the toner cartridge is mounted in the image forming apparatus.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a toner cartridge having a movable protrusion to provide feedback when installed in an image forming apparatus.
