FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of a scanning device and a transponder. The scanning device comprises a master oscillator (1), a power amplifier (2), a duplexer (3), a transmitting-receiving antenna (4), the first phase doubler (5), the first phase divider (6), the first narrowband filter (7), a phase detector (8), the first phase meter (9), a registration unit (10), the first multiplier (18), the second narrowband filter (19), the second multiplier (20), the third narrowband filter (21), an adder (22), the first bandpass filter (23), the second bandpass filter (24), the third bandpass filter (25), the second phase doubler (26), the third phase doubler (27), the second phase divider (28) by two, the third phase divider (29) by two, the fourth narrowband filter (30), the fifth narrowband filter (31), the second phase meter (32), and the third phase meter (33). The scanning device is also provided with two receiving antennas (37, 38), three adjustable delay blocks (39, 40, 41), three low-pass filters (45, 46, 47), three extreme regulators (48, 49, 50), the third, the fourth and the fifth multipliers (42, 43, 44), an azimuth pointer (51), an elevation angle indicator (52), a range indicator (53). The antennas (37, 38) are arranged in the form of a geometrical right angle, at the top of which a receiving-transmitting antenna (4) common to the receiving antennas is placed. Receiving antennas (37, 38) are located in the azimuth and angle planes, respectively. The transponder is made in the form of interdigital transducers, three sensitive elements and three reflective gratings, which are printed on the surface of the sound transmission line. Herewith each counter-pin converter is made in the form of two comb electrode systems, the electrodes of each of the combs are interconnected by buses. The buses of the first, the second and the third interdigital transducers are connected to the same microstrip transmitting-receiving antenna. The central frequencies of the interdigital transducers are determined by the step of placing the electrodes and their number.

EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the device due to the location of the transponder.
