SUBSTANCE: gear lubricant composition comprises a base composition based on a polyalphaolefin oil comprising dibasic acid ester, a thickening additive and an additive package including antioxidant additives in the form of phenylalpha-naphthylamine and 4-methyl-2,6-di-tert-butylphenol, a sulfur-phosphorus-containing additive, and an antifoam additive. The composition as a base composition contains a mixture of polyalphaolefin oil Spectrasyn 10 with a viscosity of 10 mm²/s at 100°C with dibasic acid ester Syntolux L-439 with a viscosity of 3.9 mm²/s at 100°C and a thickening additive Syntolux V-7, which is a vinyl-alkyl polymer with a viscosity of 200 to 5000 mm²/s at 100°C, and additionally, the additive package additionally contains methylene-bis-(dibutyldithiocarbamate), a sulfur-containing additive Crumson 100M with a sulfur content of, at least, 16.0% and phosphorus of, at least, 1.2%, as well as an antifoam silicon additive polydimethylsiloxane PMS-200A.

EFFECT: lubricant composition according to the invention is characterized by a high value of flash point and solves the problem of improving the operational characteristics of a lubricant composition when used in heavy-duty aircraft gears throughout the range of operating temperatures.
