FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to eliminate paraffin-hydrate plugs and maintain optimal thermal conditions in wells in order to prevent and eliminate paraffin-hydrate and asphalt sediments on the inner surface of the tubing. A heating system is immersed into the well to the area of sediment formation and consisting of a line heating element in the form of external load bearing steel armour of a load carrying cable and a feed core through which a high-frequency electric current is passed and the metal of the linear heating element is exposed to the high-frequency field of the feed core, thereby to create inductive high-frequency currents in the metal conductor. The feed core of the linear heating element is either electrically insulated from the metal conductor both along the whole length of the linear heating element and in its head part, or short-circuited to the end of the metal conductor of the head part immersed in the well, to protect isolated or short-circuit contact against mechanical action when immersing the head part into the well. The length of the linear heating element and the frequency of the alternating current passed through the feed core are chosen from the condition of equality of the alternating current period j, S or the whole length of the electromagnetic wave propagating along the linear heating element. The heating system operates in the well in the stationary mode, but may be used in a mobile embodiment of the system. In the process of continuous operation of the heating system, the frequency of the generator current is not changed, which line heating element serves as load. In order to prevent overheating of the metal conductor and the feed core, the average temperature of the line heating element is controlled by measuring its Q-factor and if the Q-factor of the line heating element reaches the value corresponding to the maximum permissible temperature, the high-frequency current through the supply conductor is cut off, and when the Q-factor reaches the lowest possible temperature in the well, it is switched on again.
EFFECT: increase of reliability and expansion of functionality of the heating system to ensure not only the elimination and prevention of sediments in well, but also the intensification of oil production.
