Herewith the BLA image is associated with one or more advanced images, including a non-decodable leading image. The non-decodable leading image refers to a reference image that is not the above BLA image, nor is it any image that follows this BLA image in the decoding order. One or more reference images are marked in the image storage buffer as unused for reference before decoding the BLA image based on the determination that the current image is a BLA image.
