FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing thin sheet rolled products from ingots of boron-containing aluminium alloy includes preparing molten aluminium containing copper, introducing boron in amount of 2 to 2.8 wt % in the form of boride particles, producing the ingot by crystallising the melt, hot rolling, intermediate annealing, cold rolling. The aluminium melt is introduced with copper 1.8 to 2.5 wt % and manganese 1.4 to 2.2 wt %, the cast ingot is subjected to hot rolling at a temperature from 400 to 450°C, cold rolling after annealing is carried out at a temperature from 360 to 400°C. The method makes is possible to produce rolled products having a thickness of less than 0.3 mm, ultimate tensile strength σ>300 MPa and elongation δ>5%.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to implement a structure of thin sheet rolled products which provides the best combination of performance properties, such as strength and ductility.
