SUBSTANCE: method of treating spent liquid petroleum products includes their mechanical purification with the removal of water and mechanical impurities and their subsequent chemical purification from impurities that are chemically active with respect to mentioned oxidant by passing a stream of spent liquid petroleum products through a filter with a filler in the form of granular ammonium nitrate.
EFFECT: safe, simple, convenient and effective cleaning of waste liquid petroleum products from mechanical impurities, as well as impurities that are chemically active with respect to the oxidants used in the mixture explosives.
