FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: thermal motor for Rankine Organic Cycle (ORC) contains an evaporator, an engine, a condenser and a circuit containing a fluid medium, with the working fluid having a critical pressure (pC) In the range from 4000 kPa to 6500 kPa, preferably from 4200 kPa to 6300 kPa, the working medium has a critical temperature (TC) In the range of 450 K to 650 K, preferably 460 K to 600 K, the working medium has a molar mass in the range of 50 g/mol to 80 g/mol, preferably 60 g/mol to 75 g/mol, and gaseous working medium is partially condensed during adiabatic expansion. The invention also relates to the use in a thermal engine of a working medium having a critical pressure (pC) in the range from 4000 kPa to 6500 kPa, preferably from 4200 kPa to 6300 kPa, having a critical temperature (TC) In the range of 450 K to 650 K, preferably 460 K to 600 K, and having a molar mass in the range of 50 g/mol to 80 g/mol, preferably 60 g/mol to 75 g/mol, the gaseous working medium is partially condensed during adiabatic expansion in the organic cycle (ORC) of Rankine.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the efficiency of the heat engine.
