FIELD: recovering waste heat.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to a composite closed Brayton thermal cycle system for recovering waste heat and a recovery method. The waste heat recovery system based on the Brayton cycle consists of a heater configured to circulate carbon dioxide vapor in heat exchange interaction with a hot fluid to heat the carbon dioxide vapor. The expander is connected to the heater and is configured to expand the carbon dioxide vapor.

EFFECT: compressor is configured to compress carbon dioxide vapor supplied through the refrigerator, and the heat exchanger is configured to circulate carbon dioxide vapor from the expander to the refrigerator in heat exchange interaction with carbon dioxide vapor from the compressor to the heater, moreover, the expander and compressor are mechanically connected volumetric devices.
