FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: electric drive for an aircraft contains a housing, a ball-and-screw unit consisting of a nut and a screw, an axial bearing, an electric motor, a gear train, a rotor position sensor, a damper and a control system. The control system is configured to turn off and turn on the electromagnetic excitation of the dampers and start/stop the electric motor. According to the first version, the nut of the ball-and-screw unit is designed as a double-sided bevel gear wheel. The damper is made in the form of n-electromechanical dampers with electromagnetic excitation connected to the nut of a ball-screw transmission via the gear wheels. The electric motor shaft is perpendicular to the screw of the ball-screw transmission and connected to the nut of the ball-screw transmission via the gear wheel as well. According to the second version: the nut of the ball-and-screw unit is made in the form of a double-sided bevel gear wheel, the electric motor is made with a conical rotor, the damper is made in the form of n-electromechanical dampers with electromagnetic excitation connected to the nut of the ball-screw transmission via the gear wheels. The electric motor shaft is perpendicular to the screw of the ball-screw transmission and connected to the nut of the ball-screw transmission via the gear wheel as well.
