FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: in the sea a tube is immersed, the bottom opening of which is open, and the upper one is connected to an air compressor, by which controlled air injection-bleeding in the tube in the given pressure range is carried out. The positions of the z1 and z2 water levels in the tube are fixed relative to the vertical, the differential pressure within the tube and the atmospheric pressure at the z1 and z2 levels, P(z1) and P(z2) respectively, are measured with the gravity acceleration g, and the average density of the water layer between the z1 and z2 levels is calculated by the expression: . According to the claimed device, it comprises a tube immersed vertically in the sea, in which the lower opening is open and the upper one is connected to a controlled air compressor and a difference sensor of the pressure inside the tube and the atmospheric pressure, the output of which is connected to one of the inputs of the electronics unit, to the other two inputs of which the first distributed thermoprofile meter laid along the tube within it and the second distributed thermoprofile meter laid along the tube from the outside thereof are connected, respectively. The output of the electronics unit is connected to the processor, the control output of which is connected to the input of the controlled air compressor. Wherein the tube is preferably made rigid.
EFFECT: simplicity and reliability of their operation and a wide field of application, high accuracy of measurement.
