FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dome-shaped or spherical universal building, which is represented by a prefabricated collapsible structure, and can be used for the erection of buildings of various functional purposes, of different storeys, both warm and cold. A universal dome-shaped building comprises a supporting frame made with a base and a vertex in the form of polygons of different perimeters, a roof in the vertex of the supporting frame, and a facing material. Wherein the supporting frame is made in the form of at least three pyramidal volumetric trusses arranged symmetrically with respect to the base center and rigidly connected to each other in the upper part by at least one horizontal beam with forming a space between the extreme racks of the volumetric truss, equidistant from the base and up to the top of the trusses. Wherein the roof is lined with the facing material.
EFFECT: reducing the material consumption and the mounting period of the building, increasing the strength and stability in the conditions of asymmetrical and dynamic loads, increasing the energy efficiency and translucence of the building.
