FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: two metal half rings are produced with boring assembly for inner diameter of a support bearing. Moulding two half-rings of anti-friction carbon plastics with width equal to the width of the support bearing, taking into account machining tolerance. The half-rings of carbon plastics are glued to metal half-rings with oil and petrol resistant glue. On the surface of the metal half-rings to be glued, a roughness not exceeding Rα 3.2 is made. A load of at least 0.5 MPa is applied to the glued half-rings and the glue hardening during one day at a temperature of 60°C or three days at room temperature is ensured. Then, the halves of the detachable insert are machined along the ends to the width of the support bearing and bored to obtain a working diameter. A lubricant supplying pot is made in the carbon plastics half-ring of one half of the insert.
EFFECT: production of support slider bearing insert with high wear resistance at lower number of operations.
