FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for detachable fastening of two- and three-layered plates-cutters with super-hard layers and hard alloy substrates installed in rectangular slots according to the borehole and core forming cutters layout, includes a wedge-shaped mechanical clamp, with rectangular slots on the tool body being made through, and to the side substrates of the tool plate are attached to the shank of the welded steel with the possibility of providing the necessary allowance of the lateral calibration edges. Then, after inserting the plates-cutters into the slots, they are preliminarily clamped with the wedge, and the shank is welded to the body of the drilling tool, with the possibility of later cutting narrow slits through the weld seam contouring the shank along all planes of the plates-cutters against the walls of the slots. Then, after the welding unit is cooled down, an additional clamping of the plates-cutters is made.
EFFECT: increase reliability of plates-cutters fastening when sharpenning is possible, replacement or reinstallation on non-worn edges.
