FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of gasifying fuel biomass in a dense layer moving along the axis of an inclined cylindrical reactor rotating around its axis includes loading of solid ground biofuel into the reactor, supplying gas to the reactor with air from the reactor side, where solid wastes of gasification are accumulated, moving loaded fuel along the reactor axis, removing ash and combustible fuel gas from the reactor with filtration of the gas stream through the layer of loaded fuel biomass. The water supply to the reactor is carried out in the form of superheated steam produced in the steam generator block 10 in the cooling zone 8 of the reactor and entering the active oxidation/reduction zone 7 together with the central air blast through the adjacent layer of solid gasification waste that is forcibly loosened as the reactor rotates relative to the stationary steam generator block. The body of the steam generating unit is in the form of a truncated cone/pyramid with a water reservoir connected to the central axial channel for air blasting through a throttle valve to relieve the superheated steam, equipped with a water/vapour temperature sensor, a spherical-shaped buffer layer 11 of hard wear resistant inert heat resistant material, forcibly loosened and stirred during rotation of the reactor to crush and screen ash before it is removed through the discharge device.
EFFECT: increasing the energy efficiency of gasification process, improving the gas quality, reducing the heat losses, increasing the reliability and simplification of the reactor design.
