SUBSTANCE: method of simulated echo detection in radio channels using frequency shift signals is to receive an analog signal, digitize it, and calculate a signal parameter that is compared with the previously calculated threshold and, based on the results of the comparison, make a decision about the presence of simulated echo. And as a signal parameter calculate the dispersion of its amplitude. The decision on the presence of simulated echo is taken if the value of the signal parameter exceeds the value of the previously calculated threshold by more than 1.5 times, which is the value of the dispersion of the signal amplitude calculated in the absence of a simulated echo.

EFFECT: detection of simulated echo in the conditions of a prior uncertainty about the time of their emission in radio channels of signal transmission with FM-2.
