SUBSTANCE: measuring the spikes observed in the cross-correlation function, the shape of which depends on the ratio of the durations of the reference signal and the durations of the pulses contained in the received signal. The duration of the time intervals of the spikes is measured, the maximum amplitude values and the duration of the time intervals of each spike are compared with the amplitude of the reference signal and its duration, and depending on the maximum amplitude value of the spike, based on the comparison results, a decision is made on the durations of the pulses contained in the digitized signal.

EFFECT: providing the ability to determine the duration of pulses contained in a received analog signal by using only one reference signal.
