FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: supporting rod structure made of composite materials is a group of frames and rod connecting links between them. In the supporting rod structure, the rod connecting links are made in the form of rectilinear sections of broken lines arranged inside each pair of frames from unidirectional composite material and laid along length of structure in diagonal crossing directions with bending on each frame and with layer-by-layer inclusion of their material between circular layers of frame material at points of intersection, and fixed by a layer of cloth along the perimeter and enclosed in armouring shells.

EFFECT: increase in rigidity of the supporting rod structure.
