FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: olefin polymerization process involves passing the catalyst flow through the injection nozzle and into a fluidized bed disposed in the reactor. The method also includes passing a feed stream comprising one or more monomers, one or more inert fluids or combinations thereof, via an injection nozzle and into a fluidized bed. The feed stream is at a higher temperature than the ambient temperature. The process also comprises contacting one or more olefins with the catalyst within the fluidized bed under conditions sufficient to produce a polyolefin.

EFFECT: increase in catalyst productivity.
