SUBSTANCE: multiple one-directional data channels can be configured for user equipment (UE) for carrier aggregation and can be divided among multiple advanced eNodeB (eNB nodes). The eNB nodes may be selected to service multiple one-directional data channels for the UE based on various criteria such as channel conditions, load, and the like. The various eNB nodes may be selected to serve the one-directional data channels for the UE based on the one-directional data channel so that a particular eNB can be selected to serve each one-directional data channel of the UE.
EFFECT: each data packet for the user equipment can then be sent via the corresponding one-directional data channel.
