FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: light-converting unit 100, lamp and luminaire are presented. Light-converting unit 100 comprises a first layer 108 and a second layer 106. First layer 108 comprises a first luminescent material. The first luminescent material contains particles with spatial quantization and has a dimensional dimension in the nanometer range. The first layer receives light 110 from a light source emitting light with a first spectral distribution in the violet or blue spectral range. The first spectral distribution contains a peak with a first wavelength. First layer 108 converts a substantial portion of incident light 110 into light 104 with a second spectral distribution in the blue spectral range, regardless of the position of the first spectral distribution in the violet or blue spectral range. The second spectral range contains a peak with a second wavelength that is greater than the wavelength of the first peak. Second layer 106 comprises a second luminescent material. Light 104 with a second spectral distribution falls on the second layer and converts incident light 104 at least partially into light 102 with a third spectral distribution different from the first spectral distribution and the second spectral distribution.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining a colour-converting unit that allows to use blue light sources with several different emission spectra of blue light.
