FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce white light in lighting devices. Lighting device (100) comprises first solid-state light source (10) configured to supply UV radiation (11) with a wavelength of 380–420 nm; second solid-state light source (20) configured to deliver blue light (21) having a wavelength of 440–470 nm; wavelength converting element (200) comprising first luminescent material (210) and second luminescent material (220). First luminescent material (210) emits green or yellow light (211), and second luminescent material (220) emits orange or red light (221), resulting in white light (201). Wavelength converting element (200) is located at a non-zero distance (d) from solid-state light sources (10, 20) and is designed as a window of mixing chamber (120). Lighting device (100) does not comprise a scattering element, but further comprises a regulator of solid-state light sources (10, 20). Wavelength converting element (200) may comprise a matrix, into which first (210) and second (220) luminescent materials are embedded.
EFFECT: efficiency of radiation conversion into white light is increased.
