FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a luminophor containing M2AX6 alloyed with tetravalent manganese. Herewith M contains univalent cations, at least including potassium and rubidium, wherein A includes a tetravalent cation, at least including silicon, wherein X includes a univalent anion, at least including fluorine, and wherein M2AX6 has a hexagonal phase. Invention also relates to production of the luminophor, as well as to a lighting device and a display device with a liquid crystal display using the luminophor.
EFFECT: proposed luminophors have a narrow-band or a line radiation in the red region of the spectrum, therefore, they provide higher spectral efficiency for the purpose of lighting.
