FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: braid includes an elongated wall having opposite edges extending parallel to the central axis. The wall is woven with a warp yarn extending parallel to the axis and a hybrid weft yarn extending across the warp yarn. A hybrid weft yarn having a fibrous core and non-metallic first and second yarns covering the fibrous core is provided. The first yarn is twisted around the fibrous core in the first helical direction and the second multifibrous yarn is interwoven with the first yarns around the fibrous core in the second helical direction. The first helical direction and the second helical direction are opposed to each other to provide a final zero torque on the fibrous core.
EFFECT: direction and protection of elongated elements.
