FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: stack of layers in an odd number with a layer of more refractory metal between the less refractory metal layers is collected. A multi-cycle hot rolling of the collected stack and recrystallization annealing are carried out. In the first cycle, the collected stack is heated to hot-deforming temperature of the less refractory metal, which is the matrix component of the laminated material. A layer of more refractory metal is a reinforcing component. Recrystallization annealing provides the passage of the recrystallization processes and restoration of plasticity only in the matrix component. The stack is collected from the produced blanks and subsequent hot rolling cycle is carried out which ensures the formation of the compound of the components while maintaining continuity only in the matrix layers and the preparation of dispersed particles of the reinforcing component. The number of subsequent hot rolling cycles is selected upon condition for producing the predetermined dispersion of the reinforcing particles in the sheet composite material.
